I'm making a kidsshow table(the kind that folds down and holds your props) And i'm wondering for those who have made them what did you use to hold the top down when in moveing setup? Also when in show setup what do you use to hold up the folding top?

An 'L' bracket. Attach it to the side on a small hinge so you can flip it into place and it'll hold your top up.
There are numerous latches that you can use to keep your table closed. Any hardware store or a home depot will carry both of these items. Pick the type that you like.

I think I know the one you are on about. I built the one described in Mark Wilson's complete course in magic, its pretty easy to build and folds flat. The only disadvantage is you can't carry your props in it!

Sluggo and Kyle have nice home-made tables!

How are you getting on with the table?
