 Post subject: IT/Escapes?

I just started putting together a routine for kids shows which includes silks, crayon tubes, stratosphere, coloring book etc. i was wondering if its good to also add in IT and maybe some escapes from like rope or chain :?: if anyones got some tips or pointers for kid shows i need them im just starting to do shows ive been doing magic for 3 years. Thanks

You could do a floating bill, barrow a bill have it signed and then crumple it up and levitate it and then use the bill for a vanish and appearance somewhere else.

I tried a handcuff escape at a couple of b'day parties. The adults were impressed, however, the kids didn't get it. Not worth the effort for kids parties.

I own a bunch of escapes. The one i use at kids shows is a stratight jacket. I also have thumb cuffs and a full body shackel deal the kids like the shackles they like having to count and small stuff like that.

I would say negative about the IT...escapes I don't know. I tend not to perform IT in public, mainly because there is so much chance for something to go wrong. This risk probably doubles, if not triples, in a kid show.
