STREET MAGIC???

Busking, Blaining (V1), Blaining (V2), School…WHAT?

--Busking: Busking is the practice of doing live performances in public places to entertain people, usually to solicit donations and tips. Those engaging in this practice are called buskers. Busking is a British term used in many areas of the English-speaking world. In the United States they are more often called street performers

Busking is not a simple task that just any one can do it. It takes not just skill in the arts and entertainment, but it also takes the ability to control an audience, to be able to draw a tip/crowd, to be able to handle many different situations- some of which can be very serious.

To even start thinking about going out and busking you first need to get down a solid routine. This routine can be composed of many different effects- escapes (like straight jacket), classic (like cups and balls), “scoundrelâ€

For Blaining (V2), wouldn't 5 effects be a lot for like 1-3 people?

Seriously, David, you MUST publish your essays, if nothing else, in e-book/pdf format. They are awesome, and need to be collected into one location.

Thats really a personal preference and based on how much time to people are willing to give you.

You could do less than 3 if you wanted. Its just my opinion based on what I have done in the past.

Learn to study how they act, that will be a good indicator of how much time you have. If they seem rushed dont bother with them, or you might get plowed down.

--I also greatly appreciate all the kind word from you fellow magicians. Makes writing the essays worth while, and to think I disliked writing them in school.
