Jim Gaffigan (comedian) had a joke about people who compare books to movies. I like what he says about it "you know what enjoyed about the movie? NO READING! Only took 2 hours and then I could take a nap"

thats definitely my type. Not to say books are bad in anyway. I just don't enjoy reading, but will read if need be (like school.... >_<)

anyhow i didnt read completely the whole essay, but it looked good for whatever much i read.

The best dvd that I can recommend you is "oz pearl man born to perform card magic" man this must be the best dvd out there this dvd in this dvd you will lean a killer ambitious card routine plus, a new way of performing two card monte, the best biddle trick presentation that you ever see and ultimate transpot gamblers

That righ there killed the essay for me, as soon as I saw that I didnt even bother to read the rest of your post. As that quotes leads me to believe you are a kid with little to say or add worth while. As your writings are probably not even original.

For starters he teaches nothing new. Second, I have seen better teaching.
Third, I have seen much better presentation.. by others and myself. Mine presentation, in my hands kill. His is the basic. You should strive to create your own when possible, rather than just copy. Its not a new way to perform the two card monte, its rather old. There are better sources for even better ACR's. And gamblers version? ya, okay.

You area T11 and Bird magician, you should be so proud.

The difference between magic books and DVD's though is a DVD will teach you four to eight tricks.

A book will teach you 90 to 100 on average.

A book isn't much more than a DVD. Do the math and find which saves you money.

I suppose it's like they say: "want to know how to hide a magic trick from a magician? put it in a book"

Books rule.

lol dont worry, reading my science book is the only reason i'm doing good in my class. she's the worst teacher i've ever met in my 2 years of college. I'm not worried about books being more contentful (magic wise), I just dont enjoy reading. There are exceptions, like theories or presentations, etc. Thats fine.

I tried it at some point in my time, it's difficult, but possible. I was just fortunate to have a mentor who demonstrated it in person.

I also tried to read The Prestige... not working out.

 I agree one hundred percent. Oz is not very original in that DVD and he certainly could have given better teaching in it too...

And out of curiosity, why did you feel the need to mention Devo and Jerry, but not Tudor or the Bucks. IMHO I think the bucks beat De'vo hands down when it comes to flourishing...poor deprived little E kid.

I feel that you just plagerised, which is not only against the law and unethical, but I feel its agains the forum rules.
You didnt even credit them.

I would like to see you try this in the real world- get kicked out of college and "black listed," or maybe even taken to court/sued.

Instead of posting other peoples work as your own, you should either not post at all or write your own.

If I was a mod I would delete this whole topic, and probably check your other posts for the same thing.

How am I the Dumb [edited]? I write my own stuff, I dont need to steal other peoples work to make myself seem better or smarter.
I am not the one that will be kicked out of school later in life for stealing.
I am not the one that will be known as an unoriginal [edited].
edited the spelling in the post should have been a dead give away you didnt write it; You can see it goes from alright spelling, to good spelling, to crappy spelling.

And maybe I am a little ticked off. I dont care for people that steal and I really dislike people that steal other peoples work only to claim it as their own. Theres no honor in that, theres nothing good that can come from it.

But your too ignorant and arrogant and just plain stupid to understand that.

Only thing you contributed to that was your thought that Oz's DVD was the best for cards.

Instead of defending your self or reply to my comments, you make personal insults and attacks. So mature and smart.

Which fully leads me to believe that I am right.

So whos the dumb [edited]?

-------

Not to mention "your essay" is lacking alot of information. I wonder why that is... oh I know, because you couldnt provide any more of your own. Because you know very little about the topic. Take 'presentation' and 'reactions' for example. It is a useless piece because of lack of info on your part.
Stick to things you actually know enough about. Dont go around taking other peoples work and posting it as your own.

But of course you wont listen. You will probably just throw more names and curse words and such at me.

way to lose any respect babidi, david was entirely correct, you copied it. You cannot claim it as yours until found out. All you become is a fraud.
