De'vo's real name is David Beyer. No 's'. His performance name of De'vo Vom Schattenreich, is pronounced vom shatten-raish.

Is it meant for Devo to be anonymous? Has anyone seen him in reality? Is there any picture with the face of him?

I think so, I wish I did see his face. It might look like a deck of cards.

He says that there are no pictures of him on the internet and if there are pictures that say they are him they are lying. You could maybe see him at the ulmen trials

de'vo is a good performer and all don't get me wrong.... but he makes himself out to be ALOT better than he really is. He somehow gets the idea that he is a card manipulating god of some sort.... slightly irritating

These forums maybe, but he isn't a magician, and these are primarily magic forums. Penguin stocks only 3 card manipulation items, as opposed o countless magic ones.
De'vo managed to create a cult.
In short Ulmen is a money making lie. De'vo whilst being a good card worked is no where near the best.
And yes there are pictures of him around.
But whats it worth to you.

It's just all product hype. And his chracter in the cloak, without showing his face, etc, creates a mystic atmosphere about him and his products.

Then the whole SuperHandz thing. Call it something super, switch a s with a z, and you've just targetted all those "xtreme" children who fall for "cool" marketing names.

It sells DVDs, and gives him a huge backing of children (with some adults, and teens ).

Heh. Nobody is knocking his skill. Just his character he portrays. He portrays it not to his audience, but to his customers.
