This is totally in the wrong section, but I'll answer your question anyway. It's called forcing a card, and there are hundreds of ways to do it. If you are interested in forces/card magic, I suggest picking up The Royal Road to Card Magic (RRTCM). It will teach you all the basics and more... for only $10.46 (about)! Your post is actually asking for exposure, which is against the rules (you need to read them).

You can't go and edit your post... now you're making me look dumb. A podcast is something online that you can listen to. You can find the link to the podcasts on the homepage.

The original post was about forcing a card, and then when he realized he put it in the wrong section, instead of admitting he did something stupid, he edited his post, in turn making me look stupid.

You're welcome. And trust me, you will not regret getting the book. It's often referred to as the "card worker's Bible", and is, IMO, the best place for a beginner to start. However, and I know I forgot to mention this earlier, if you are more of a visual learner, you might want to check into Born to Perform Card Magic by Oz Pearlman. IMO, it's also a great beginner's source, and it will teach you how to force a card. It costs $30, but it's worth it if you are a visual learner. Here's the link to my review for it:
