Welcome to Frijid Pink's 17th "Free Magic Giveaway Contest".
Contests 9 through 12 were held on the Spookclub Forums, all the others were held on these Penguin Forums.

As mentioned before I've decided to share some of my magic with fellow Magicians that I no longer have a use for or have decided I can live without. This contest comes at absolutely no cost to you. The items I'm giving away are totally free, I even pay the postage.

Please pay particular attention to all Rules and Restrictions. Any deviations could possibly result in your disqualification from this contest.

CONTEST RULES AND RESTRICTIONS ...

(1) Only those who reside in the US are eligible.
Reason/s: My investment of the item to be won is has already come out of my own pocket ... and the shipping/postage is coming out of my own pocket. I am on a limited Disability Income, disabled and have difficulty getting to the Post Office. Winner will receive the item secured in simple packaging with Stamp/Post Office postage. Nothing special, but what the heck, it's FREE to you! I apologize for the residential restriction but maybe some of you other countymen could consider running your own contest/s.

(2) All entrants must have a minimum of 300 posts on the Penguin Magic Forums.
You must have at least shown that you are a contributor to the Penguin Forums and not just entered the Contests with a minimum amount of posts to take advantage of a free magic offer. Your other contributions, financial and/or purchases from Penguin Magic are not my concern, only your post contributions. In order to be fair too those who enter my Contests that have contributed to the Forums, I have to ask that all entrants who enter have made a fair contribution as well.
Other than the above, all Penguins are eligible ... meaning any registered member of the Penguin Magic Forums who reside in the US, and have a minimum post count of 300.

(3) Only one (1) entry per person.
Attempting to make more than one entry in any form will result in immediate disqualification. This means no use of multiple user names or editing of messages to change your guesses/answers to the contest. All edited/changed guesses/answers will result in disqualification.
CAUTION: The Penguin Forum Moderators can and will check for infractions on multiple user names and message editing on all entries. ..... You have been warned.

(4) Winner must be available to be PM'ed or E-mailed.
When the winner is chosen and announced I will need a way to contact them to get their address to send them the prize/s won.

(5) After notification you will have one (1) week to claim your winning Prize/s.
Make a note to yourself, or write down on your Calender, the date of the Contest ending time so that you may check back to see if you’ve won. After 1 week of notification all unclaimed Prizes will automatically default to the second winner.

(6) At the end of the Contest I will make a post to announce the winner. I will then notify the winner for their address and the topic will be open for comments and congratulations to the winner, and I'll start my next contest soon after.

Now on to the contest. What do I have to do to win? ...

Compose a Poem about Penguin Magic and some of it’s products.

1 Your Poem must have a Title above it.
2 Your Poem must have an Authors’ name below it‘s Title, you may use your Penguin Username.
3. Your Poem must have a minimum of six (6) Stanzas with four (4) lines each.
4. Each Stanza must have a rhyming factor.
5. The first (1st) Stanza must contain the phrase “Penguin Magic”.
6. Each following Stanza must contain the name of a product sold on Penguin.
7. Humor will be a strong consideration in judging.

To An Athlete Dying Young

The Rope

As I checked The Online shop,
that penguin magic is,
I sought an item, jaws to drop,
for that's the magic biz.

I looked and looked and sighed and sighed,
for nothing my heart called,
Til " look at THIS!" My heart replied,
" Rope magic???" I answered appaled.

Remembered I, with pain and rew,
"Professors Nightmare" badly done,
When but a lass, before I grew,
"Well that will not be fun!"

"The demo watch!", My heart replied,
And that I did, that made me glad.
For wondrous is that DVD,
Two words stuck out in mind.." That's BAD!!!"

Amazed was I as ends and Mid,
would swap and swap, ....and swap.
One mo' it's here, the other there...
So to penguin magic shop,

I went and that item I add,
to cart, as quick as quick.
some Rope as well, a close up pad,
and 'visible deck I pick.

Now day by day, Rich Sanders plays,
On DVD, his sleights to teach,
That wonder I at first did feel,
To make others feel my skills might reach.

Fiber Optics Exten-ded,
My fingers learn, my hands rehearse.
Richard Sanders now has led,
My heart to magic, 'fore averse.

And now I'm glad, that penguin shop,
I did peruse, that wondrous day,
That rope, the ends and mid, do swap,
as fingers with, they play.

And leypeople, their jaws do drop,
which was my worthy goal,
So every morn, for rope, I grasp,
e'en for to store I stroll.

Oh penguin mall, those sales keep on,
and shop here will ne'er end,
Morgan Strebler, my next goal,
To learn to how forks bend.

The Cart

I clicked that awesome button: Add to Cart
Even though those Bikes are at Wal-Mart
But Penguin Magic always has the best buys
DVDs, books, how can't you love these guys?

With everything from Hanks to Appearing Canes
Descisions are really a pain!
Should I Make a key bend?
Or make 2 card pieces mend?

Is Zero Gravity any good?
Should I buy it? Yes I should!
That’s Twenty bucks more, and now I hear its poor...
Uh oh, I’m not sure anymore!

Loops are a good choice right?
Wait, I hear they break without much might.
So I’ll buy the million Dollar Knot,
It’s said that with this, you’ll never get caught!

Only $50 left
Man, buying magic is a theft!
Speaking of, how about On The Spot?
A watch steal I hear its got.

Well Penguin, my shopping journey is almost done,
I skipped Black Widow, paying the cost is no fun...
But either way, you may be thinking that making a cart is financially hard,
Well don’t worry, it’s all off my mom’s credit card!

* conciders what she has to look foeward to when the magic bug REALLY hits her daughter,.... and decides to make her Credit cards, disappear.*

My Start in Magic

I remember the first day i found this site,
It was Nine O' Clock, late at night,
"Penguin Magic" was it's name,
I thought that it would be pretty lame

But as i looked through the tricks,
Is when my mind began to tick,
The tricks were amazing, and really cool,
My jaw dropped, and I started to drool,

Thru the demos, i searched, and such,
Till i found A trick, I wanted much,
Some rubber was placed on the mouth of a cup,
And 2 coins were placed right on top.

A coin was selected, fair and square
and penetrated the rubber, amazingly fair.
The reactions were amazing, people flipped out,
It was an amazing trick, there was no doubt.

I looked at the price and I screamed, OH MY!
How can this place be getting by?
3 dollars for such an amazing illusion,
"I'll buy it right now!", was my conclusion

It's still a neat trick, I still think so to this day,
But now i like tricks, that aren't gimmicked in any way
Impromptu, and challenging, that's what I'm after,
And also tricks that will fill you with laughter,

But that was the trick, where i got my start,
And it does mean something in my heart,
If i hadn't found penguin, where would i be?
If anything i doubt i'd be happy,

Because magic is my life it's what i love,
From finding a card, to producing a dove,
It's all in good fun, and it's what i do,
So thank you for reading, really, Thank You.

Ode to Penguin Magic

Oh, how I love you Penguin Magic
Everything about you makes my wife sick
But I think she's just jealous
That something else makes my heart tick

Self Tying Shoelace was the first thing I bought
I was afraid to show them for fear of getting caught
But as I walked through the grocery store
I quickly learned that people wanted more

A hundred in one hand, a pen in the other
What I did next, would make you say MOTHER ..........!!!
A hole in the bill, the pen went right through
Just goes to show what the B2 Bomber's huge payload can do

I pulled out a wallet, four cards were inside
Four jokers I said, as I layed the wallet aside
One by one the jokers turned face down
But when turned face up, N.F.W!! Aces were found

Into the Card Wallet, I put the cards back
A cheap piece of plastic, the color of black
But what to expect for ninety nine cents
Or ninety cents discounted by ten percent

Art of Astonishemnt, what a great book
It tought me the trick that I use as a hook
It brings in the gasps, with a snap of my wrist
You know that I'm talking about the one and only, Cros Twist

It's Christmas, time to deck the halls
Open a present, YES!!!!, the cups and balls
One at a time, through the cups the balls go
But once the cups are lifted, bigger balls they do show

A book with two queens, torturing the king
It must be a Dominatricks type thing
Tyler you did it, you take all my time
I have to try to come up with a rhyme

And this is my poem, my thoughts, my word
A little something I wrote, my ode to The Bird
You have never let me down, all my orders endured
But you better believe, In The Trenches was insured

The Epic Journey of a Full Cart

Many online magic shops on the market,
But just one, can be good at it,
Penguin Magic, is what I mean,
Cheaper and new products, are being seen

There are so many good things to buy,
All I can do is sit down and sigh,
Not knowing which to keep on the cart,
Or which to take off or just use my heart.

Instant Downloads are a big thing here,
Or even that new trick, Water to Beer,
But don’t take my word for it,
The Self Tying shoelace is a nice, cool bit

Watching magic demos, I was doing,
“Ug!” Looking at more magic, I was viewing,
I don’t mind using much gimmicks,
But I don’t want to be like any of the mimics,

Extreme Burn and loads of rope,
UV Nighshades and the Multiplying Soaps
Man, I can’t decide on what to buy,
So many new DVD’s and books, I just want to cry!

From books of theories to content containing material,
To biographies of magic imperials,
Harry Houdini, Mark Wilson,
Thurston and Dai Vernon,

I know what I say is true,
From red sponge balls, to blue,
Those new Split Spade decks just came out,
I’ll be sure to pick some out, there is no doubt

New products come in everyday,
It’s just more money for me to pay,
Many different topics to look at,
Levitations, coin, card, mentalism, I know that

Nothing can come between me and Penguin magic,
If something did, boy, that would be tragic,
But before I end the ballad of my full cart,
I want you to know, this is just the start…

Attempting this I am, but it will probbably stink, so...
Poetry isn't my thing...

The money Spent.

Penguin Magic, more money spent,
Than any amount you could ever expect!
Worth it it was, as more magic is mailed,
Buying I have been, About Face and Nailed!

Add to cart, the words of death,
More and more, more money spent;
Gregory Wilson and Joshua Jay,
Blindsighted and Twisted!, bought but hey!

More money to Penguin, I suppose which is good,
With the ten percent discount I guess we all should,
Buy more from Penguin, as more products come in,
Gazzo's Street Cups and a big product-full cart and bin!

And don't forget the forums, filled with fun!
Talking about products, and yes I mean everyone,
Some who spam, and some who actually post,
Questions about everything, Pop-Card, can it be done with toast?

Can't forget the contests, made by Frijid,
Giving away tricks, Tango's Gimmicked coins with ridges.
A terrible rhyme, yes that was!
I do not say it, just because;

I wan't to win the contest, although I can't,
With a terrable ryhme, the one above or any like that;
A penguin product is needed, another contest rule,
What about Liquid Metal, it seems really cool!

Back on the original topic, Penguin magic is simply the best,
So much magic, I can and will never rest!
Deciding the next product I will buy?
I think I will stick with the iVanish, done with the eye.

Sorry about the bad poem, penguinmagic's prices control my mind!
Or are those other magicians, making up these bad rhymes?
