I am preforming in my town's annual fair. They had an artical about it in the newspaper and only myself, the charity dunk tank, and one other magician were recognized in the article out of the whole fair! I should have a whole lot of attention that day. Just thought I'd share a good experience.

Good job! There's nothing more exciting than seeing your name in the papers..Well...Maybe hearing it on TV, but I digress. Keep it up! A bit of advice....Get the reporter's name and send them a thank you note for mentioning your name and covering you in the story. It will go a LONG way with them and you'll have no problems getting publicity again when you need it. Trust me...It works...I wrote the book on free publicity for magicians...Literally

I love that book :)

very useful, I recommend it to anyone who want to get any sort of publicity in magic.

By the way Michal how are your new sub-trunk plans coming along?

Thanks for the compliment. Honestly, I haven't had much time to put them together. Funny...I thought I would once I retired from performing. Lol. Guess not. Been doing quite a bit of traveling, doing consults and lectures. Just got back from Chicago...and was in Toledo, before that. I'll be returning to Chicago fairly soon..working on designing a new illusion. I'm hoping to get the new Sub-Trunk plans finished by mid-October (that's the goal).

Might I be able to get a signed copy of the book?

Of course you can. You can get the books through a number of websites, including Amazon, but they're not signed. However, for a signed copy, you can purchase one directly from me. I only have a limited number left...FIVE.

Let's get the thread back on topic here...This thread is not about my book..it's about Tiggerkim's story. If you want the book, I'll check my PM box for inquiries.

Just wanted to give a (late) follow up. In September I performed at the fair expecting to make a couple bucks in tips and get some publicity for 6 hours or so. Well, I made $60 in tips (plus what I spent on food and other things I got at the fair) and went through about half of my buisness cards. Great experience. My stand was always packed.
