one day my 8 year old brother and his friend where in the car and i figured id do some magic. first i did a kind of paddle move with a pack of one of those hand wipes. then i did a nail up nose, (not blockhead... but i just made it up and i thought he would figure it out and it would just be funny but it worked) then i saw some gum and popped one into my mouth, not thinking about magic. then when it lost its flavor i got another thing of gum, but decided to do a thumb palm pass with it and make it vanish and reappear. so i popped it into my mouth after that then he said "do it again". i never actually started to chew it so i took the chewed up one out of my mouth and said "i already chewed it up" then i popped it back into my mouth, made a weird face, then pulled out the un-chewed one. then i realized... you really can do 1 hour of kids magic with a TT!

It sounds like you just made it up as you went along, and it may have worked THIS time. However, entertaining and amazing a CROWD of kids is entirely different. Kids magic that is planned and payed can be difficult. Maybe not the tricks, but the prep work and the thought. Obviously, you've never done a planned/payed gig.

i know... i was just being sarcastic at the title (i think that's the word that im looking for...)
