hmm.. im gonna rip apart my bulb and make it as light as possible and try again. I'm using kevlar btw.. and Im not using any elastic tension, Im actually trying to do it with a ( sag ) to reduce any breaking.

um BC I dont think they used the levitator. this was done in a brightly lit up area, and the bulb was floating across, this is making me think it was the blackstones floating bulb.

and for the question right above this, I think u can get those bulbs at a magic shop. for about $6

Is this the same effect Harry Blackstone Jr. was doing in the 70s and 80s? and if it is, why are you calling it the Criss Angel floating light bulb? (I don't know if it is or it isn't because I don't watch his show).

I have no idea. :S Im using kevlar- sorcery manufacturing, but its not strong enough, and I tried doubling it, but it becomes very visible, unless the room has no light.

that would be asking for exposure, which is against forum rules......

From reading this thread, it sais that his effect is called the blackstones floating bulb. Where can you get this effect?
