see thats the problem, WE as magicians have a problem with "stooges" well I don't im just happy to see some magic on t.v. but the show is actually made for laymen to get them interested in magic, so he wants it to look like you can do the impossible. but Im starting to understand where you guys are coming from with the camera edits, even though i still dont see any proof on the 70 percent people think he uses.

Actually I always said he used about 30-50 percent.

Yeah thats probably lots of kids on here that aren't serious magicians. I think 15%, maybe 20% now cause he is doing a lot more it seems like. I don't think 7 out of 10 tricks he shows are edited, but I do think one or two of them are edited.
About stooges, I'm like kind of inbetween with that. I mean I guess you could get a friend to go with you and enhance your effects for you in real life, but it still doesn't seem right to me to show a spectator something that they couldn't see what everyone else gets to see. I've been thinking about that lately a lot for a tape I'm going to make. There will be some tricks that use a person that is in on the trick but I could use stooges and make some incredible effects, but it wouldn't be fair to people watching the video really. And I couldn't replicate the effect without the stooges being there to help, so I am very doubtful I'll use any. I don't think its ok to enhance an effect with stooges really, but I guess the line is drawn by personal opinions unlike edits.

Well no need for a debate over the walking on water anymore, we just had a fellow "magician" expose it on the net. I posted something basically saying this: angel isn't that amazing, he uses a lot of edits and stuff. Although he did do a trick where he walked on water, that was amazing. I think that trick was probably very amazing to laymen, but apparently that person didn't think so cause he responded with basically saying "its not really so amazing, he just had --------. Its the same thing they use for -----." I edited part of what his remark was because Im not going to expose it. That was the general feeling of his remark, its not word for word but mine own remark isn't word for word either. I just couldn't believe he said he is a magician and exposed the trick for laymen to read. Now those people might go and post that somewhere else and then everyone is going to know in like 5-10 years like the balduci. I know thats not likely but its possible. It just made me sooooo mad that he exposed it.
