Personally, I think the last episode (performing for high school) was the best episode so far this year. I wish Chris would stick to doing great, simple, unbelievable stuff like this episode instead of the grandiose illusions like the water-walk, building walk, etc. This season I think has been much weaker than last seasons, due to him using his non-impromptu set-up illusions ...but episodes like this one really make me like him again!

..but then for every episode like this, im sure he'll do another butterfly tattoo or pregnant lady "illusion" to lame it up again.

Just think, if he had done something like the year-book tear to Letterman instead of the lame woodchipper illusion, he might have come off much better.

I agree, I like his simple illusions better, but I'd have to say my favorite eppisode was...ah what the edited, the school one.

I feel like he is running out of ideas though.. it was all over the place. What was the point of the car lifting.. and he didn't really do any memorable illusions... so i'd have to dissagree. he is at his best when he is being extremely creative because that is what sets him apart from every other magician out there.

I didn't like anything on that episode. Nothing. As in at all. Most of the tricks were a joke really. The car lifting thing was already done on his first season so I didn't get why he did that again. The episode where he walked on water was his best ever because that was real and an amazing effect. His first season was ok. It was pushing it with edits I think, but the second season has too many edits in my opinion, so thats why I don't like it. I like the elephant vanish episode and the saw in half one too though. They weren't too bad although I wonder about his sawing in half. I liked most of the tricks that episode but I wonder if the sawing in half wasn't edited or stooged up somehow for tv. Well I think I just covered all of mindfreak in a paragraph lol despite this only being about one episode.

I liked it but thought he did to much mentalism in that one it would have been nice to see some other effects. My personally favorite one fromthis season is when he helped that kid with his magic or the party one.

THanks

Sean

i think he's acually going to expose all those pick pocketers and 3 shell people and scammers because he said that hes "going to blow the lid off every body who uses magic to cheat people and casinos by using slights to hide cards" etc etc...i dont remember exactly what he said but it was along those lines...LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BE GOOD THOUGH :]
the only one i havnt liked so far is the hypnosis episode...it was just so boring i dont even care IF it was 100% real it still would have been boring

I thought it was alright, his trick that he did where he picked someone from the schoolbook is horrible to do on tv. Along with the thing where they put him in the position. It's all horrible stuff to do on tv because it screams stooges. The car lift was pretty cool. I forgot what other tricks he did.

That trick has nothing to do with stooges, in fact most people I talked with were very impressed with the way it came off, and I REPEAT that effect has nothing to do with stooges.

lol you would get a totally exposed view if you watched it on David Letterman a couple months ago. He preformed the same trick on the show and they filmed outside and the wind blew a bit too much. I was laughing really really hard.

Yes, it was VERY unfortunate that he decided to do that illusion on letterman, just think about how good it could have been to with Dave and be all personable and blow his mind with some mentalism or something close-up and crazy.

He really missed an opportunity on that one.
