At first it was cool but now that is all that he does! i cant stand to watch it,At least if he did real magic like stealth pen we could think of camera tricks but now all that is possible is stooges!PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU AGREE!

I think he uses the amount that fits his style of performance. Just enough.

I think he is using a little too much. Mentalism just isn't good on tv cause you could just use an actor too easily so whats the point in it really on tv? Thats my opinion, just do a little and make it good and don't do anymore.

He is starting to use a little to much mentalism but I dont think he is using way to much. He just needs to do a little less.

Well, he's always been a mentalist. That always been his speciality.

No, I don't think so. Not many people remember Chris way back before Blaine even got popular. He was much more of a mentalist than a crad performing magicican.

im not about to say he is the best mentalist but he is darn good, because he looks like somebody that can acually read minds, when he's staring at the person he really makes it look like he is getting into peoples minds and acually reading their thoughts...so i think he does almost too much but its still pretty entertaining watching him freak the people out

whats funny to me is in the best of season 1 episode, they show him walking up to people and telling him that he wants to do a trick to them to be on his show and people were like running away from him. he couldnt read their minds. i want to see magic on his show not mentalism. to me mentalism doesnt work on t.v. there is no impact because you already know its going to be right or else they wouldnt show it on national television. hes not going to show a messup.

I agree, I don't think mentalism works good on TV...
I mean you never know if they not just set it up and told them what to say etc...
Mentalism is for stages and environments where you "know" that its not just acting, at least in my eyes

But even in stage environments, you can use stooges.

if you havn't noticed the show is called mind freak, MIND freak, as in the mind he messes with peoples minds, that is mentalism, the show isn't just called freak or magic freak, so it makes sense that he does alot of mentalism.

I know and I don't say that there are stooges used for the mentalism on tv, it's just a different experience as a spectator
if you watch a show on the stage and someone is randomly selected from the audience you always have the feeling "it could've been me"
on tv you only see a magician and someone else you don't know, never seen before and you don't know if they made some arrangements before the shooting or whatever
