I belive that some people prefer Criss because he is good at lecturing.He is very lively when he talks to another person,and he also makes some jokes.People like Criss more becuase of his personality. On the other hand, people dislike him because he very often uses numerous camera editing and stooges in his tricks.
Some people like Blaine more becase he dosen't use camera editing as much.But his lecture and personality seems a bit dull,and boring.He seems like he has less enthusiasim when preforming to people.Which is why some people dislike him.
As for me, I belive that a better personality is what make a magician get better reactions. For example, i did the simple floating dollar bill trick to a group of people with a lecture that shows humor in my personality.I acted lively,and also made some jokes. They freaked out, and did not seem to care how it worked. Then i did the same trick to another group of people,but this time i did not show as much enthusiasim and personality in my lecture.Their reaction?"ehh,it's fake,your probally using magnets or string."

Yeah, are you blind, angel uses tons of edits. Thats like all the second season is, editing.

You must be crazy or something, there is no proof he uses them for one. And secondly, his tricks are very easy to figure out. I preform them for my family all the time. Most of them anyways.
