i like copperfield. his show is the best. and if he ever does an other special he will probably do a trick to me at home

ok i know this is the angel/blaine forum but do you think copperfield will ever do another special

probably one last one before he retires. He's getting to be 50.

He did buy those islands where he claimed to have found the real fountain of youth. I could see him turning this into his going away effect, though I don't see it happening anytime soon.

How could he be going away if he has a fountain of youth?

Leaving professional magic, not dying. I'm not quite sure how he'd do it, but I think he'll use it somehow.

I'm sure the fountain of youth thing will be a special. But I think Copperfield is a long way from retiring. I'm sure he will be doing this stuff until he dies.

Maybe he has a double that is younger than him by like 15r20 years and he will stand on a stage, then smoke will cover him and he'll drop below the stage and the double will appear and he'll be like "I drank from the fountain of youth this morning!" And then that guy will be David Copperfield for like the next twenty years and they'll do it again. That would be some kind of stupid but funny at the same time. lol

and it was AWESOME!!!
he mada a real car appear on stage and my dad got to go on stage and he made 14 random people from the audience dissapear.

it was sooo cool.

And i got a signed autograph from him.

A problem with Copperfield though is that his stage character hasn't grown. It's basically the same that it always has. Which worked great when he was younger, but now he's trying to play a character which he's just too old for.

And don't forget, his out dated character has never really worked for him. He's hardly known anywhere outside of magic. Besides, anyone who has to steal his name from the main character of a Charles [edited] novel can't be that good.

That's a bit...well...wrong.

I know plenty of people who have nothing to do with magic who know who he is.

I'm not trying to argue...simply stating that he's quite popular, and asking anybody on the street who David Copperfield is will more likely than not meet you with the response "Magician" and not "That book I read once..."

Copperfield is a legend.he is one of the most well known showmen in the world.saying that he is boring or he lacks carisma is funny.actually many people do not know how he started magic.most of the people do not know that he used to do card manipulation acts on stage and a lot of sleight of hand stuff and many more...he is not only an ordinary stage illusionist who performs magic just with smokes and beautiful assistants.he is a true magician and artist.he made me love magic and I started practicing magic when I was about 10 years old.anyway...many things can be told about him but we must not forget that many magicians like CAngel or Blaine or Cyril are beginners when compared to stars like Copperfield or Lance Burton.respect their art...
