What a crappy tip over box on last nights Mindfreak episode. You could see were they cut the bottom off the box. There was a huge gap of light. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this. It is when he made the girl appear out of the shipping box.

Actually, if you were listening he pointed out that the box was put together so poorly that his merchandise could easily fall out. Yes, we magicians know how a decent tip over box should be made, but his show is not for us. It's for lay-people. And as I've said, based on the context of his statements during the trick, it made sense.

The whole scenario, in general, was silly. I suppose they just did that Tip-over effect as show filler. The people in the production office acted as though the box was delivered and there was no set-up?!? Please! (Oh yeah – since when does Criss Angel handle his own merchandise deliveries? Wouldn’t a store manager handle that?) Trying to make-up a storyline to justify the trick made me chuckle.

As mentioned before, this show has a particular target audience and Magician’s are not included in the demographic.

Yeah I get sick of seeing his crew act all amazed over something. I mean is that really any different than people doing a trick just in front of the camera and posting it online? I mean is it too hard to show an actual performance? Couldn't Angel go somewhere and actually perform that trick, instead of just filming it being done and have everyone around act amazed? That really annoys me lol. Its really not that hard to go film an actual performance of the trick instead of doing it to the camera....
