They were goofing on how some of the media were actually dumb enough to report this "hacky trick" he did as being legit in that it supposedly went wrong. They noted that the ending of his emerging from the wreckage had to have been planned and that while it was a good idea for a dramatic finnish that of course he would not get stuck doing a handcuff escape he has done on every escape he has ever done.

yeah I agree. the cameramen wouldn't of gone over to the rubble if they didn't know he was going to live. they wouldn't go looking for his dead body. i knew that it was going to end up that way because all of his illusions seem to end that way

The way I see it the first two doors were the only ones that were inspected by the former policeman, and the rest of the doors just had special locks which were incredibly easy to get through. When Criss had so much trouble with the first door, he opend the second one, and ran down to the bottom floor because he realized he wasn't going to have enough time.

I'm guessing if he got through the first doors quicker he qould of continued his route and got on the ladder.

I really can't make much sense out of that.

we can't give criss credit for the stunt even if he did survive. He said he would pick through handcuffs( which he did), he said he would pick through four doors ( he only got through two of them using a pick), and he also said he would get on to the helicopter's ladder in 3 and 1/2 minutes ( which he didn't). He only accomplished 3 out of the 6 tasks he said he would do :!:

How do you know he wouldn't try to do an escape like that if he had his on show? However, if you're saying would he do a camera trick like Angel, then yeah I agree, no he wouldn't do a camera trick like Angel....

There had to be a setup. As stated above why would the camera crew run to the wreckage if they didn't know? And furthermore do you think that the demo team, not to mention police, fire and other saftey personnel are going to be allowed to run to an unsecured site of an explosion moments after the explosion?

In an actual demolition of a building, there is a line that people can't cross. Criss got permission, but the wrecking crew would not have allowed other people to run into the demolition area right after it was imploded. It would be stupid to allow.

There is more than enough proof to deem this stunt a camera trick.

Maloney- This effect is nothing new. The only new thing about it is that Criss took an easy way out. Personally, I would perform a stunt like this. Because there is very little danger in it, as with the majority of any stunt magicians do. It's always a calculated risk. And even less when talking about Criss.
