I have seen a LOT of people asking about how they can be like David Blaine or better. They talk about stunts they want to do, tricks that they want to buy, etc. etc. However, what everybody fails to realize is that, if they try to become famous by doing things like David Blaine, then they are actually working against what they want to do! David Blaine only became famous and (kind of) respected in magic from one thing. HE WAS DIFFERENT. He popularized a new form of magic. Street magic. He then did wild stunts. That helped his fame. However, being exactly like David Blaine won't get you noticed. You must be DIFFERENT!!! So, please, new magicians trying to be like him, old magicians trying to be like him, or ANYBODY trying to be like him, think about how you can be different, instead of wasting your time doing something somebody already did.

I agree 100% , Be more like Amazing John and David blaine mixed together and you will be diffrent. Well now that im thinking about it, if we added some of Jay Sankeys fruit cake wise cracks then we could come up with a Very funny , insane split personality , street magician that does great magic.
Just a stupid idea that would be a great routine on sat night live.
