The ice block stunt was not want it appeared to be. The masked magician showed several deceptive tactics which were used.

LOL...the masked magician also exposed a lot of old and out dated magic techniques that are not used by most successful people.

It is known that the most common card thought of is the 9 of Diamonds. No joke. Another is the Queen of Hearts and of course the Ace of Spades. 3 or 4 of David Blaine's mind tricks involved these cards. Hope I was help to you all.

David Blaine does real stunts. Yes some of his MAGIC is not exactly real but his stunts are not fake. I suggest you pick up his book from your local library...a real good read...interesting stuff.

I hate posts like these. All of magic is staged. Its all a cheat! Let me explain to you this by rephrasing what you said about David Blaine substituting his name for the Invisible Deck.

I knew the Invisible Deck staged things all the time but this is really bad. Are you sure This is how its done? If this is the case someone really needs to stop the Invisible Deck from being used!

Does that sound ridiculous to you? Because its essentially the same thing. Take any measures necessary to achieve the best effect you can. No more Blaine-bashing. -- Dan

I don't know if you guys heard this in school, but I have. I learned that you can only go for two days without water and one week without food. You would dehidrate and die without water for three days.

You can go longer than a week without food. My pastor does an annual 30 day fast, my wife did one also. Nothing but water, tea juices. It is the water your body can go without. Many have done similar fasts

Sorry about the mistake with the food, but they still had water and tea to drink. But dont you agree that you would dehidrate and die. Well if you dident die it would be nearly imposible to hold youself up being so drastically dehidrated.( I bet the pastor and your wifle lost alot of weight on the fast :) )

I know a similiar trick, take the four kings, and place them underneath the table. Ask your spectator to think of one, and stab the table. Hopefully, and most people will, they pciked the King of diamodns - there you go, the kign of diamonds is in a sabbing pose on every playign card in the world.. usually.. so, just say you stabed through and hit him. :) Lol.

David guesses. They don't show you the times when he is wrong.

Of course, i think there is a site out there that names the
most commonly thought of cards it sometimes works, most of the time it does not.

What you have to understand is that David Blaine does alot of video editing. If you watch his DVD very closley, you will see cut-away shots on many tricks, where part of a trick is cut out to make it more believable.

In the Subway trick for instance, what you don't see is where David blaine forces the cards to the people, probably using the riffle force where you riffle the deck and ask them to see a card within the riffle and memorize it.

**I can't give any more information about this trick, or my post will be cancelled for revealing secrets. Email me at: themagicmanis@yahoo.com for more info on this, or any other trick he does.**

Now is where the trick starts on the DVD, after he has forced the card. He simply says, "You are thinking of a card?" They reply, "Yes." And it looks like David read their mind. It's as simple as that.
