I believe his mother was white and father was black. Any deeper than that...I don't know.

in david blaines book mysterious stranger he NEVER mentions his dad not once, i believe his father is maybe not black but dark skinned and his mother was white, or he could just have a tan

I also read his book and find it odd that his father was not mentioned...he had a lifelone devotion to his mother though.
