Hahaha, film editor. That was hilarious. He does seem like a very intellectual man, historian sounds about right. The thing is, he's an adventurer, historian might be a bit boring for Blaine. Possibly actor, yes.

I can't see Blaine as an actor! He has nowhere near the persona of say an Orson Wells or a Ricky Jay (both magicians turned actors).

Among other things Wells was an Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, Magician and Artist. Ricky Jay can act good and has a great on screen presense. I just don't see these qualities in Blaine.

I can't picture the man in a screen role...what would he play?...he sure as heck isn't the comedy type (well maybe he is, considering his latest stunt  ), or leading man type, nor does he have looks for a dramatic role, unless of course he played some sort of criminal role.

On the other hand he might fare well as bug-eyed slasher.

after FPs 'film editor' post.....not sure what else there is to say.

Now FP, were you talking about him being a homicidal maniac in a movie or just running around the streets of NYC as a freelance kind of thing?

actually I see him in the world of Academia somewhere, as a professor or research librarian. he comes off to me as a cerebral person.

Hope he doesn't go that route, his acting is probably comparable to Keano Reeves. Instead of following the white rabbit Blaine can pull it out of a hat. :)

A kindergarten teacher.

Or a gameshow host.

Or maybe he should consider becoming a magician. Nah, it wouldn't work.. :P j/k :)

He could always be a "stuntshow host" ... he has experience in that area.

I can see it now..."Worlds Goofiest Stunts" on A&E, hosted by David Blaine.
