I gotta tell you that Benji is an EXCELLENT mentalist and entertainer, and if you are truly looking for a good source of info and a way to get started in the biz professionally, this is a great blog to visit and begin gleaning very useful info. Benji is an accomplished performer, but more than that he is a smart marketer and businessman. He's personally given me invaluable advice that has been KEY in becoming successful as a working magician.



Benji, I just want to personally thank you for providing us, and the magic community, a very good resource for people who would like to get their feet off the ground. There are others out there who would charge for much of the info your giving freely. I appreciate your willingness to help bring others up.

Another good video.

These videos are really helping me. I would really like to become a performer that gets paid to perform, at least on a part time basis.

I'm trying to put these ideas into action for myself...and this one has given me some ideas for what I need to do in order to get myself to the point where I can start getting myself out there in order to make some money doing something that I truly enjoy.

How is Joel Baur in person. Is he as intense as he appears on videos. I love his business card video. It seems kind of silly on the surface, but you can tell he really cares about what he does.

He is MORE intense in person lol. You should have seen this guy perform. After everyone left there was only a couple of us and he performed some mentalism and magic...best close up performance I've seen by far. The first effect he did was Hundy 500 and the way he frames it made the effect go beyond impossible.

Joel had a heckler in the seminar (the guy was disagreeing with every marketing concept Joel said) and he handled him by turning the entire room against the guy. You can easily tell that he is a performer whether he is just talking or doing tricks.


And that definitely is the best testimonial I've received thus far. But the reason it is good (which is what everyone should use as an example) is because he shows emotion through his words. Joel can do this whether I perform for him or not but most people can't. So if you can get people to show emotion in the testimonials then they make them 100 times better.
