Ok I recently purchased Gene Anderson's Torn and Restored Newspaper. If anyone has any tips they could help me out with, it would be much appreciated.
1. How do you keep the newspaper perfectly together before the tear. Seems with the loaded newspaper inside, it pulls the inner pages down.
2. How do you keep the torn newspaper to not be so bulky after the restoration? It seems like you can tell there's something inside afterward.

And in the dvd, Gene discusses other versions where a "pocket" is used instead of a "clip". Any suggestions to which could be more favorable?

Hi Chriscalle!

Welcome to the forums :D We're excited to see you here and joining us. I would suggest reading through the basic forum rules (it would never hurt to scan them over) so there are no misunderstandings in the future. This post would be considered exposure if somebody were to answer your questions :)

I sincerely apologize. Can I delete this post and rephrase it then? No exposure intended at all. Just for clarity, was it the "loaded newspaper part" or "clip and pocket" part? Or both? Also, is there a way to discuss tricks with others that have already purchased the same trick? Thanks a lot and I apologize again.

No problem :) Just be a little more careful next time. No harm done. We have forums for certain products called the Penguins Only forums, but one on certain tricks, this isn't one of those.

I would just email Gene Personally:

gander4864@sbcglobal.net

His T&R Newspaper is the best. I had him teach to me hands on many years ago. Is a very nice guy, and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to help you out...heaven knows he's got the best tips on it since it's been his reputation maker!
