Hi,

I not familiar with that kind of gimmick ,so I would like to know what are the differences between those two threads and what are they good for ,why would you buy one or another.

They are both considered invisible, just one is elastic such as Loops; http://www.penguinmagic.com/search.php?q=loops

It's each own's choice or personal preference which one to use for a desired effect. Many enjoy using Loops for their ease of carrying and being ready to go for an effect.

One is stretchy (elastic) and one is not. Both are invisible.

Elastic thread is generally only used for Loop work while the other kind for anything else.

I'd suggest buying loops ( http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/1969 and http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/238 ) and IT ( http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/51 ) and see which one you prefer. I've found you need more audience management to float something with IT, but it looks a little more free of a levitation. Loops are going to float something a little closer to you, but it's far easier to control the people areound you if you are newer to magic.

Loops also don't need to make things float either. Can make a dollar bill statically attach itself to you, or even magnetically.

Personally, I think it's fun to point out that, "Money is drawn to me, see"

Loops are usually better to animate stuff compared to floating something around your body or all around.

Use IT for that.
