I personally have never been to Atlantic city but me and my mom both have friends who have. Some who go often even once a week. Now they aren't magicians so they wouldn't notice what kinds of cards are sold up there. I know that they sell the used decks like Vegas because they have to keep the decks in use fresh. so you can buy each casino's style bee barely used for cheap but, ( and I may be wrong) but i assume they sell some pretty nifty cards up there when I go or if one of the friends goes next time are there any cool cards for sale there I should be aware of to purchase?

IF they sell "house cards" they have holes punched in them....Why ?

So you don't bring in your own, and "add" an ace or whatever to your hand.

I know this 1st hand from Hard Rock here in Fla.

You're in luck! I live within eyesight of AC. Casinos do sell cards in their gift shops, and they do have a hole down the middle for obvious reasons. They make cool novelty gifts for tourists (especially magicians), but not suitable for live performing. Just a cool thing to say you have. My parents both work at casinos so they hook me up with loads of free used casino cards to practice with.

I have more AC casino decks than I can practically count. The stock is MUCH thicker than a normal bicycle card and they last way longer if you take care of them. The only problem are the holes :(

Never been to Atlantic city but my understanding is that most US casinos use a Bee stock of one form or another. The two basic Bee stocks used are either a soft thin stock(I assume used for games in which a croupier hand shuffles) or a thicker stiffer stock(likely used to handle machine shufflers and card shoes.) Either stock is a bit of an improvement on standard Bike stock. You can get cards new, without holes punched in or corners shaved off, that are printed on these two stocks. For the softer stock look for the "Aristocrat" label either on the card box or mentioned in the ad copy. For the stiffer stock keep your eyes peeled for a mention of "Casino Grade" stock in the ad copy.

Aristocrats are what the most used in AC cards.
