Hi everyone. I'm looking for some idas for a new finale for wedding shows. They're usually small stage shows and, up until now, I've been finishing with a version of Snowstorm. However, more and more venues are getting anti-confetti, so I'm looking for something new that'll leave a lasting impression and can be performed alone.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey, i just did a wedding recently. In fact it was the first wedding I've ever been too (let alone performed at). I was personally disappointed with my lack of preparation and it was not one of my best shows (but it was still good). I guess it was cause i had no idea what it would be like, out of my usual kid show environment.

However if i was to do it again, i would shift one of my tricks and stick it at the end. Any trick where you can produce a shot/glass of drink and then that naturally leads into toasting the bride and groom. Would be a excellent ending to toast the guests of honor.

eg. Vanishing bottle into a glass of wine (Fielding West made this popular). Perhaps that trick "Sure Shot" from a egg bag.

I will upload my routine for the liquid production soon. I did it in the middle (FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON!!!) but in retrospect should of done it in the beginning or end.

Alternatively a linking finger ring routine (himber or otherwise) using borrowed gold rings with patter about marriage or whatever may be another possibility.

Hmmm... I quite like the idea of finishing with a toast. Bill Abbott's Stabbed and Shot would work the same way.

I was just going to suggest Stabbed and Shot. It could also be worked in to the reception right after the cake cutting as everyone is gathered near it.

This was the liquid production i was talking about. If i was to do it again, maybe produce something larger than a shot? i dunno.

You couldn't pay me enough to perform a stage show at a wedding.

I do walk around and/or behind the bar only.
