Check out my effect in this month's issue of Magic!

Hey guys! So my very first effect was just published! It's called "The Alchemist" and can be found on page 70 in the December 2011 issue of Magic Magazine! It's a quick little ring effect that I perform all of the time. Here's a video of it in action! It's from a couple of months ago when I was at Jeff Kaylor's Magic Jam. I hope you enjoy it! I also just wanted to give a huge thanks to Jeff Prace for helping me out with getting this published!

I hate to come in and ruin the party, but Josh's trick sucks. I only helped him submit it in order to make my trick, found within the pages of the same issue, look better. All kidding aside, Josh's trick is practical, interesting in plot, and, for the most part, within the reach of an intermediate performer. Well done!

That's awesome (and rather impressive)!!! I knew the magic community would stand up and take notice when you posted your version of the disappearing hankerchief on youtube (it's been almost 20 minutes, isn't it about time someone reposts that?). Haha seriously though, Congrats Zenn!

Is this the effect you are teaching?

It's funny because as a Chemistry project we're supposed to combine art and chemistry (we're taught by a hippie, I know) and I figured I would have someone film me at a gig and do some Chemistry related plots. This would fit in perfectly with the sort of alchemy plot. I was already doing a scotch and soda routine with an alchemy plot and this would be the perfect follow up. I can't wait to see it! Congrats!
