Okay no doubt it looks beautiful and the effect is baffling but could anyone see themselves using this? I mean it just looks too much like a prop. Kind of like making a ball and vase out of pure gold. No matter how you dress it up it looks like a magical gimmick. I could surely see collectors picking it up but would anyone actually perform with it? If so in what type of venue?

Certainly I would perform with this. It would be something to bring out after a family meal gathering.

The effect is one heck of a grabber and the price is not bad, I have seen this for $500. Just don't have the money right now.

That's gotta be the most boring performance I've seen in a while.

As for the product itself, it really isn't that impressive. I wouldn't pay $10 for it.

You're all entitled to your opinions. No question!

But I just had to chime in and say I've loved this effect since the first time I got fried by it.

Make no mistake....I really love the effect as well. And the craftsmanship looks beautiful. I am a guy who would happily "collect" this kind of item and use it in the same way EZ mentioned. But I wouldn't add it to a show. It just looks like a gimmicked box. So I guess that is why I pose the question. Not really aimed at who would get it and who wouldn't but more to the point, If someone would, or has, got this how do you plan to use it? Entertain family and friends, parlor, stage, kids shows, busking? Or would it just be a pretty box to stick on your shelf with all your other pretty magic props, only to be dusted off when other magic buddies come over to see your collection?
