so i've been interested in getting david stones tool but i think i know how it works and i belive it uses the same type of gimmick as one of the gimmicks as the trick solo by mark mason which i own so why not save money and just use that gimmick instead of spending more money on the same gimmick?? i hope i didnt give anything away. granted he teaches you the tricks but once you've been doing magic for a while you can pretty much figure stuff out on your own... any comments??

It's his uses and subtleties on a prexisting effect. I'm not sure if it says it very clearly in the promo, but it is.

Tool is also similar to Redemption and also Any Card To Any Spectator's wallet can do similar things. I've just made your choice harder!

The gimmick that comes with David Stone's Tool is fairly similar to that which comes with Mark Mason's Solo. That being said, it is used in completely different ways and is made in a way that makes it a lot more precision and surefire than the one that comes with Solo.

I recommend getting it, even if you have Solo. I use a lot of the routines with that gimmick on a daily basis and have definitely gotten more than the asking price out of it.
