Greetings Fellow Magi:

Perhaps someone can direct me to the proper forum or if there is a sticky on this matter. I am just looking to get some sensible insight on how I might go about releasing or presenting a few of my own (originally created and encompassing an entirely new and never before seen or used gimmick) effects to where I might receive the most exposure and hopefully the opportunity to share them with the magic community as a whole. I want to make it clear that I am a professional magician and inventor who has performed and created effects for close to 10 years. All of these effects have been scripted and precisely detail what the spectator sees and the methods used to perform the effect. I am in the process of capturing video footage of the effects.

Does anyone have any reccommendations as to how and where I might present the video footage? It seems to me that Penguin would like you to already have a designed, produced and marketable effect prior to having them carry your product for sale. I am assuming Papercrane, for example might be where I should look to send my effects and go from there.

I am not saying these effects are earth-shattering but I have not seen anything like my gimmick and the use of it in card magic. I know, I know it is extremely difficult to talk about an effect without seeing a video. I just wanted some feedback and advice from others who may already have an idea come to fruition and marketed for sale.
