In performing it again (it had been a while; I had forgotten about it), I've been looking for other great methods for the haunted deck. I really like Scared by Jamie Daws...

...so that brings me to my question. What is your favorite haunted deck and why?

I only do a haunted deck using the Tarantula gimmick. Sorta doing the spooked styled version with the cards placed on the floor. I like it cause your start with a normal deck and end with a normal deck. Once the trick is done i'm left in a state that is comfortable and that wont interfere with other tricks.

Ah, definitely. The tarantula was a revolution for thread work. Do you always do it on the floor, or ever in someone's hands?

Always on the floor. However it can be situational. Since i'm outdoors alot, i have to be careful of the wind. I prefer doing it outdoors anyway so i can get the illusion that my shadow is moving the deck. Using the shadow like cyril, the effect just becomes way more powerful for laymen.

Loops method has provided me with the best results. I use the floor as well.
