I'm considering learning card splitting to make one gaff for a routine I want to do. But it involves splitting 52 cards, and each face will be irregularly split. SO the final result cannot change the thickness of the cards. Will Dry Mount Tissue work better than glue? Will the final card thickness change? Is there any better way to split and maintain original card thickness?

Drymount is probably your best bet.
