Hey all,

I am looking for a source to teach me some of the work on the sharpie or pen (that shaped object) up the nose, out the ear, etc... I hope that makes sense and you all know what I mean. Basically a source that teaches a bunch of gag type visual small add ons to a routine. Thanks in advance to anyone who can guide me in a direction !

Ari,
It's not a magic book, but it's full of gags I think you'll like. It's a book called Tricks With Your Head by Mac Kinghttp://www.amazon.com/Tricks-Your-Head-Hilarious-Disgust/dp/0609805916. Inside is a bunch of classic and new mind benders and filler stuff.
I hope that's what you're looking for!

Cameron Francis has a cool little bit where he pulls a sharpie out of a cardbox, after taking cards out of it too. Its on his Penguin Live lecture. You should check it out, his other tricks are pretty cool too. Another thing you could do is maybe invest in some of the sharpie gimmicks out there like the sharpie through dollar and stuff like that..

You just reminded me. T11 has a DVD by Homer Liwag called "The Rice Papers" Where he shoves a sharpie into its cap until the pen is only an inch and a half in length. There's also an effect where his eye contact grows to be three inches in diameter. There's definatley some good filler in there; but, for your purposes, $20 might be steep.

DOS System by Christopher Ballinger allows you to make the Sharpie's cap float from the bottom of the Sharpie to the top and recap itself! Here is the link: http://www.magicgeek.com/dos-system-chr ... inger.html

Hey, Vikram! Thanks for the shout out. I was quite pleased with the Penguin Live Lecture. Thought it turned out pretty well.

Yes, the Sharpie from card box is a lot of fun and a great way to open a card set.

Not so sharp by Wayne Fox teaches a hand full of "gags" or tricks you can do with a sharpie. Like rolling it into a ball or squishing it into a pancake.
