After many years of having worn out my first set of "Twisted Sisters" cards, I purchased "Twisted Sisters 2.0". I had forgotten how powerful it is, until I performed it for my Sunday School class.

It plays so much better than the typical packet trick, and I think a lot of it has to do with the "But wait, there's more!" impact of multiple magical moments. (First you reveal that the two face up queens are the ones chosen by the spectators. Then you reveal that each is the only opposite-colored back in their respective pile, and then you reveal that the other cards are all jokers.

That got me thinking of other effects that have these multiple magical moments, which build upon each other.

What are some of your favorites?

I actually like my own Lornie's Game. Which is based off of Derren Brown's Zamiel's Rose.



My version ditches the rose pedals and drops a pool ball in there lap.
