I am wondering if in the trick "Twisted Sisters" you have to force the spectators to choose a certain queen in either deck. For example: in the pack of blue cards you would have the red backed queen of spades and in the red pack you would have the blue queen of hearts and you would have to force them to choose the queen of spades and the queen of hearts. or do they really have a free choice of any queen.

The first Queen chosen can be absolutely free choice (assuming you don't let the spectators choose a red or blue packet) Just ask the first spectator to name any Queen. The second Queen chosen has to be of the other color. For example: if the first spectator chooses a red Queen (Hearts or Diamonds), then the second spectator is limited to black (Spades or Clubs). Just make up some patter about "one color has been chosen, let's make it interesting and choose another color". This always works for me.

I know this might be a little too late but I always start by asking one person to pick a pile they want to be their's. Red or blue but don't tell me which. the next person is given the option of ANY queen but don't tell me. The first person then has to pick a different queen but since neither of us know his choice I just ask is yours red or black. Then the person names his queen 2nd person names his queen and 1st person finally names the pile.
