I am pretty new to magic and recognize the benefit of learning card sleights. I have purchased Royal Road to Card Magic, and Now you see it..., however, as we all know, reading magic instructions is a lot harder than pure visuals. What are some good videos that show shuffling techniques, or controlling. Any thoughts are appreciated.

carry cards with you everywhere u can and play with them. know how to hold them properly know how they feel in your hands.always keep a proper grip on them.its going to take many many many many hours to perfect. think about what your getting into.for the last month Ive been practicing hard for 8-12 hrs a day and last nite i woke up with the most painful hand spasms. know what they say no pain no gain!!get daryl's encyclopedia of card sleights its an indespensable tool for the card magician.good luck

That is the way old magic books are...You'll get it enventually. The more recent books tend to be a lot funnier and more detailed. They just wrote in a different style back then. Here is the thing...Books are where you learn how to be good. Videos are just for the tricks. You truly learn from books.

you are wrong, daryl's videos are much more than tricks. Card college is the best set of books out there and everything that is in those four volumes is also in daryl's vids. plus some.
