Why is there never any magic on t.v. anymore? What happened to those worlds greatest magic shows on abcfamily? Or those David Blaine shows on TLC or whatever chanel that was. Does anyone know why there never seems to ever be magic on t.v.? Or do you know when some magic will be on t.v.? Thanks for any respones!

I have notice the same thing. One thing I beleive is that when a showing of a magic show there will be a "Masked magician" show on fox. Explaining all of how the magic was done. But I'm still not sure. Just like when David Blaine was in the block of ice the masked magician showed how that was done. I could be wrong who knows. I would also like to see when those magic shows will be on again.

thats not too bad of an idea. a weekly magic show of magicians from around the world. of course, it would have to be over the internet. but think about it...magicians send in tapes of themselves performing, and then they get compiled into a weekly show. there would be something new every week, people can see other people in action, and you wouldn't have to wait until the next david blaine special is on. if you're interested in this idea, email me at jrufl@yahoo.com

Let's list as many tricks have been on these shows that are available here. Like healed and sealed - card buggy - self rising deck etc.

Just last week there was a program called "The Science of Magic" that was on TLC. It had clips of numerous well known magic acts. While it really wasn't a show dedicated to showing the actual performances I did enjoy some of the interviews. The only two people I can specifically remember being interviewed was Criss Angel and Lance Burton, although there were many others.
