I no penguin carries a few versions of this effect however I am looking for a certain one. I want to add this effect to my table and busking routine. I dont want to carry the stands and the holders for razor blades. This leaves me the problem of not being able to do the effect because you need the stands or holders to do trick. I also want to be able to put the razor blades in my mouth one at a time. most of the videos and explanations either have a stand or you need to put the razors in your mouth at the same time. However I have seen Criss Angel preform it with no stand and he puts them in one at a time, as we all no Criss sometimes has an advantage through the eyes of a camera. But basically my question is, where can I buy a razor blades in mouth dvd or book or explanation, that allows me to have no stand and put them in my mouth one at a time?

thanks guys

There was a method that the Amazing Jonathan did where he inserted one blade at a time and I think I remember seeing it on a restaurant walk-around DVD. It was called something like Gross-Out or something.

I recommend looking into Bizarro's book, Helter Shelter. It's probably the best source on this effect there is.

I like Paul Pottassy's version myself.

does geek magic allow you to put them in your mouth 1 at a time thats really all I want. I appreciate the reccomendations but i dont want them unless you put teh razors in your mouth 1 at a time with no stands or anything.

In Helter Shelter by Bizzaro, he teaches you various ways to do this illusion, including the one seen on Geek Magic. He explains the exact version you are looking for.

The only thing I suggest is that you dull the blades of the razors first.

I personally just have the book. So that's really all I can recommend. But I believe the DVD would cover the same thing.

I recommend the DVD as it is of course visual and has a few more things not in the book. If you don't want to use a stand of any kind, you can display the blades in an apple or whatnot. There is a method on the DVD and book where you drink them and there is the one at a time method in which you speak.

Alllllso, a really clever method is the Ron Dayton version where you put them in your mouth one at a time and there is NO switch of any kind. (believe it or not.)
