Criss Angel did this (very poorly) on his show a few weeks ago, too.

I think even the most blind layman could've spotted the method on that one.

I thought this was the trick Gary Dawin and Penguin were working on. Were they too late?

No. Gary Darwin was working with Penguin on a trick where soda can top things link together, not where a ring linked to a soda can top thing. Gary Darwin wanted to use the TT, so it would of been a very different effect and method. I doubt that it will ever be released though; maybe with Penguin 2.0

Is the trick Canfuse (sold on Penguin) the same thing?

The same thing as Pulled? It sounds similar, but I haven't seen Canfuse performed. I'll go check Youtube and report back.

NOT THE SAME THING AT ALL AS PULLED. This looks WAAAYYYY better than Pulled. This looks SOOOOOOO visual, where Pulled is a lot of covering. Plus, this is more direct, there is no pulling off the tab and then restoring back on the can, this is simple and direct. Canfuse.

CanFuse is impromptu (according to the ad copy) which is what he asked for.
Pulled requires a gimmick.

on the other hand

Pulled is a Linking Can Tab effect, which is what he asked for.
Can Fuse is a Ring on Can Tab.

Do NOT buy Canfuse! Read the reviews of it. It's not worth the money at all and is quite honestly, crap.
