I was in the library a few years ago, and the librarians know I liked magic. They showed me some old catalogs from the 60's or 70's and one trick saw stood out that I wanted... I think it was called Voodoo Needle.

It was needle through arm BUT with a slight difference. After you pull the needle out, You take out a big knife and slice open the wound. Then you wipe it off and the wound is gone... I acctually think there were 3 phases but I cant remember what else... if anyone has seen this, let me know!

It is probably Harry Anderson's needle thru arm followed by the Knife through arm effect. Harry's needle is the only one I can think of at the moment, and considering that the catalogs were dated at a time that he was at the height of his career, this is probably the needle part...

it wasnt harry andersons.. i actually bought this in the 90s... but i think the trick was called voodoo needle and the whole routine involved the needle and knife. so they were not seperate tricks

Hmm. That's strange. I also own the Voodoo Needle, but I do not have the knife gimmick.
