I was looking for a vanishing object such as a bowl or a similar sized object. I want to basically hold a (insert object such as bowl) in my hand cover it with a cloth so you can see the outline of the bowl under it. Then pull the cloth away and have the bowl apparently, visually vanish.

Yes I do know of the one in MWCCIM but I want something without a tray and assistant. Direct and visual is what I'm looking for here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I do this effect, however I use a wine glass instead of a bowl. I'm sure you can incorporate the same principle.

In my handling, I take the glass in one hand, cover it with the cloth using the other hand, hold the glass by the rim edge, and toss it into the air, catching the cloth and thus vanishing the glass in mid-air. No trays needed, no assistants needed, perform it surrounded and up close.

If this is similar to what you're wanting, perhaps I can share with you some of the details.

I'm not familiar with that item. I made my own gimmick and it cost me less than $3.00. Peter does put out some fairly decent stuff. Worth a look.
