Recently acquired an interesting deck of cards i'd never heard of, so im in need of some info on them if any of you know what these are. I did a pretty in depth net search for the name and didnt come up with much, only one guy mentioning that it is a pretty rare deck. The box is red, and they say No. 6 Pastime Narrow Size Playing Cards. On one of the sides it says Russel Playing Card Co., New York. This name rang a bell but I couldnt place it.
I didnt open the cards or mess with them because they looked decently old and were also still sealed and such. These may be somewhat rare or they may be totally worthless, but in any case I'd like to be sure.
any info on these would be very appreciated.

I looked on Google - didn't see anything. Either they're really rare, really old, or both. Maybe you're lucky, maybe you're not.

I'd take it to some grandfather or somebody and see if they recognize it.

Is it possible that they are replicas of an older deck? Where did you acquire them?

The reason I ask is because I'm in a similiar situation. I happened upon some decks that looked really old, and after trying to search for them online, all I could find was an auction site stating that they were quite old. However, it is possible that I simply have a replica deck as well, and they simply do not appear on the internet.

Mentioning where you found them good go a long way in helping determine what value they are.

Unless I'm mistaken the Russel Playing Card Company became the US Play Card Company
