I used to have a trick made of very thin wood that was a simple wooden box with a deck of cards in it. The box was lifted away like an upside down shoebox to reveal te deck sitting on the bottom lid. You could even pick up and sow four maybe more cards from the top of the deck as being normal. Then you placed the top back on,again like an upside down shoe box, and squeezed the sides together as you lifted it away again and the cards would be gone. The inside of the lid could be shown. I want another one so if anyone knows anything let me know.

He's talking about a shell type gimick...that will be hard to find....the one shown in the above post is quite good...and less obvious.

Howard at the trickery has a jumbo version...

you can check with him and see if he can order the smaller one.

It is a shell but its not slid into the box from the end. I wish I had a picture of what I am talking about. It looks like a deck of cards laying on a table. When you put the box over it, like an upside down shoebox kinda, you squeeze the sides and lift the shell away. You can show the inside of the box and it looks empty. Never seen one anywhere.

It's a Brema Card Vanisher. I've seen wooden versions, but not for a while. Anyone that I see carrying them, only has the cardboard version.

I could not find anything referring to a Brema card vanisher. Do you have any more information on this?
