Want to know if anyone has or knows of a video which denomstrates the Elmsley count. I have read like 3 differing versions on how to do it and not sure if wht I am doing is correct. None look like Ozers method. I received a link from another person but it worked once and the downloaded copy is corrupted (time bomb in file). Either post here or you can email at kb9nqd@aol.com Thanks in Advance. Cleverly Disguised as a Responsible Adult.

May I suggest Michael Ammar's Card Magic Made Easy Vol.1. This particular video will surely show you how to perform the Elmsley Count (by a "Gold Medalist Magician") properly along with some other very effective and visual (easy to do) card magic.

Have you bought your copy of Jerry Mentzer's book yet fcchief? If not I suggest you get that as one of your B'day gifts.

I do have Mentzers book and read thru the description, but when trying to perform it, it just doesn't "set right". The feel and look just seems like, the specs will catch on too easily. I guess learning by seeing is more my style with most things.

I really wish I had a webcam. I'd be glad to help you out if I could. Try holding the cards in a mechanics grip and pulling the cards you're counting with the tips of your thumb and first finger. That's the way I do it and it looks very natural.

Ok I will give that a try, the other ways just seem so un-natural. Ozer when he does it looks like he starts with the bottom card. Look at NFW on his first card count. Thanks Bard

Ozer's first count in NFW isn't an Elmsley, it's sort of a bastardized 2 for 4 count.

Michael Ammar's Easy to Master Card Miracles Volume 2 teaches the Elmsley Count, and you get the benefit of seeing how his looks. Plus, that video has some OUTSTANDING effects on it: Twisting the Aces, Dr. Daley's Last Trick, That's It, Ambitious Card, MacDonald's Aces, etc. I recommend this one highly.
