I need some double sided cards, but I need the shade of red pips to be a little darker like on Guardians. Do these even exist? I attempted to search around for them, but keep running into MtG links. Just finding normal double sided cards is difficult.

I believe (CMIIW) the darker red is might be from optical illusion. As the surrounding color of the pips are dark or black color, so it appears more red than usual.

I might be wrong because I don't have it, but sometimes our eyes play tricks on us too :)

No, the color is quite obviously darker. It's also a solid red. I think the only way I'll get gaffs for a guardian deck is to have them custom made. Maybe in the future I'll get to this once I have some routines cemented.

WOW! Will DEFINITELY need to get this. I can at the very least get set up for MacDonald's aces. Other effects from stuff like the Bicycle gaff deck . . . maybe not as easily.

Yup that's a good DVD, but you need a lot of practice to create a mint and crisp card :)

I did a three part series on making home made gaffs on my Angel Back Squeezer review. I got permission from Wayne Houchin to demo the gaff construction using some cards from the Ultra-Gaff deck. Everything I learned in there was either from personal experience or right out of Expert Card Technique. If this doesn't help you out you might check out the DVD on splitting. I believe they go into some dry mounting techniques which will give you a better gaff in the end result.
