I have seen Marco Tempest performed this moving hole effects impromptu on TV

I know there are many hole moving effects but non of them is as good as the one that Marco performs. It seemed the hole is real all the time and it is moveable.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide a clue as to where I can find this trick?

I don't think his effects are for sale. Your best bet would probably be to contact him through his website or maybe his facebook page.

This effect is not impromptu. The ticket is prepared and the spectator who handed it to Marco is a confederate in some capacity. The second card is not gimmicked in the same way as the first, but it is prepared. Furthermore, Marco Tempest didn't create the effect.

If you want the same effect with a playing card, get Hollow by Menny Lindenfeld.

There are only two methods for accomplishing all of these kinds of moving hole effects; Michael Close's 'Pothole' method, which can be found on his Workers DVDs, and your garden variety flap card (which works much like the cigarette thru quarter but with a rubber dental dam as the hinge). It's just an endless string of one guy ripping off another and claiming something new.

BTW, I can definately see the Michael Close gaff in play on the video you provided...it's very plainly visible.

I disagree that there are only 2 methods to accomplish a moving hole effect. There are tons of ways to punch the first hole (It can start punched, suddenly apear punched, it can be punched by a spectator, punched by the magician, burnt ect.), tons of ways to seal up the first hole (you mentioned a flap but there are more, such as a switch, removing a piece of the card, removing a decoy hole ect.) and tons of ways for the hole to move across (With the help of a pen, visually, under the thumb, suddenly ect.)

Tons? Really? I must have missed the boat on that one because I thought I'd collected them all. Can you give me the names of the tricks or books they're in, I'd like to buy them. I am especially interested in the tricks where the hole was punched by the spectator, I don't think I've seen that one.

You made me remember another method, the magnetic pen, I prefer the John Cornelius pen since he's cut the price in half (from $40 to $20 and it's a beautiful set of 2 gold metal pens, one gaffed and one un-gaffed).

Do you remember that Tenyo trick where a pen is pushed through the hole in this plastic sheet and travels all over it and is then removed at the other end? It was one of the best Tenyo tricks ever and uses an ingenious principle to cause the holes to move.
