Hey guys. Wow I haven't posted in a while but I would like some advise on this particular illusion. I have most of my experience in magic with close up but I do own a few props for a kids show I hope to put together someday. Nothing I own and been ober $100 dollars on one item but I would like not only a effect that is amazing and fun but also a showpiece that I am proud to own. So I was just wondering if you guys have any opinions about this prop and think it is a wise purchase. Other things I have looked into are " The Lemon Game " on malloy magic and Cardiographic, so any comments on those would be great to.

Thanks

take a look at it at ( bottom of the page )

I really like the premise of the 'Wiz-Kote' machine... sounds like a great trick for kid shows! I've never seen it in person though, so can't really comment on the prop itself.

Wiz Kote is great...I have a friend in the business who built his own BETTER version and he calles it the "Sneaker Squeeker" (gets your sneakers squeeky clean). He makes them out of the same stuff that wolf magic makes their props out of...so they won't scratch...

I own and perform cardiographic...I love it, but it isn't worth $125...I built mine, but directions are so complicated to verbally explain how to build it...so I am not even going to try. If you ever get a chance to look at one, you will see how to rig one up for under $10...There is nothing special about it...it's just a notepad, cardoard, a ring, and some fishing line...that's about all you need...

I'm pretty sure it's against forum rules to mention any non-Penguin seller by name, but I've found many out-of-production effects on a well-known online auction site.

They don't have any listed currently, but one Wiz-Kote Machine sold there in December for $206. Save your pennies, though, as that one that sold for $206 had condition issues including the need for re-wiring.

I'm pretty sure you can save a key-word search there, so they'll notify you by email the next time somebody lists an auction with the key words "Wiz, Kote".

If Penguin doesn't handle that particular effect you can mention other sources for it. However as long as Penguin has a competitor to the effect then it would be banned.
