Okay, so i wanna get a killer routine, and i was thinking about the tarantula, then interlace (you use a lighter to make the ring disappear) and then a trick with a lighter, but the main effects with a lighter that i can find, are fire blisters, and those were revealed by the masked magician (his name doesn't deserve proper capitilization :p) so anyone know some good effects with a lighter?

Jay Sankey has something called 'Lighter Wraps' which are stickers that you can wrap around almost any lighter. They are used for revelations (card, ESP sign, 1089...). He doesn't sell them but he sometimes gives it away free with orders when he's having his sales.

He also has something called 'Seeing Red' (I think) where....you could see it in this demo: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=15

Carbon paper from Wayne Houchin's Art of Magic DVD is a great trick with a lighter (if I remember correctly he actually got it from Jay)

THAT is a good trick. BUT I think he wants tricks that focus on the lighter (not on cards).

And yes, Jay contributed that to the Art of Magic. :)

Here is something that might work. Also if you go the Zippo rout there are a bunch of zippo tricks out there. I think E sells a dvd on Zippo flourishing and I think there are some tricks you can find on Youtube.

Yep. It's still available. You can get it here: http://www.vikingmagic.com/?nd=full&key=86

Another cool lighter trick is this: http://magicjax.com/billburn.html

I personally have Bill Burner, and brother, it's a magician fooler. It uses any clear lighter. Even the colored transparent lighters you find in gas stations, and Dollar Stores.
