I've always wanted to do this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=sword+thru+neck
Go to the Magic Warehouse's website.

I personally don't think that that should be done at a kids show. What would the parents think? "What's he going to do with that sword? Oh joy! He's putting it through my kid's neck! He's so much fun and he's very NOT creepy".

Haha, could always do it to an unsuspecting parent or older sibling.

Thats your lack of experience and something else obviously.
Think, if they were too try to replicate it later on... what could happen?
You dont use weapons, especially in a manner that could be harmful, in a kids show.
Would you also perform bullet catch and saw in a kids show?

Just because you see it on youtube doesnt mean its okay.

I think you may have misread his post. He does NOT think it's appropriate.

"Silly Willy"? How original

I also liked his disappearing champagne bottle and topsy-turvy beer bottle routines.

Perhaps this guy should also add some cigarette manipulations to his children's show.

Not to stir the pot, but I saw a magician at a friend's birthday party (for reference this would be about 15 years ago) that did sword through neck, and I don't remember any parents or kids having any problems. Not saying that it SHOULD be done, but that it HAS been done.

I think this would not be a good idea to perform this in front of children.

you our children today copies what they watched on TV or saw people doing.

what the child saw in his surroundings is right. so better not to show that because it can cause

trouble to a child.

I think Kids are a bit brighter than you give them credit for. You put a big contraption around someones neck and stick a sword through it and I'm pretty sure they will suspect that the contraption has something to do with it. Doesn't mean thay can't still enjoy a good performance of Sword through neck but I doub't that illsuion will inspire them to try to stick a sword through their own neck.

Not to mention, how many kids have a sword laying around at their house?
