First of all, do you Americans not use magnetic coins? I am confused with the likes of the raven, because in Ireland, we use Euro and normal coins work fine with the raven.Secondly, can anyone recommend to me any really good tricks that happen IN THE SPECTATORS HANDS? I think that is why scotch and soda gets such cool reactions.

none of Americas coins are magnetic, so I use the shell. The magnetic coins (i.e. euro, peso, whatever canadian money is called) it works but the problem I have when I go to another country is I want to use their money but it does make noise when it hits. a problem that I havn't figured out yet, if you can get past the noise then go with it. any other questions e mail me at lowlowly@yahoo.com

That is the main problem with magnetic coins as he said. They are heavy and therefore quite loud. As for effects in the hands, try card effects. Or are oyu looking specifically into other forms. As for cards almost any trick can be adapted so that the audince memeber gets to "help".
